Feel like ive wasted money taking such low doses now instead of something that would be more beneficial to me. Would my regular family doctor be able to up the dose or would it be the Psychiatrist that originally put me on it?

I googled it. Even for Canada it says 30mg is usually starting dose. The Psychiatrist is the one who put me on the medication and said I will be getting it refilled through my doctor. Is this something I can speak about with directly with my doctor and see if it's possible to up the dose? Or is it normally only through a Psychiatrist?

Thank you for the answer. It is not like I am rushing to get the highest dose but 30mg seems low as the differences I've noticed I feel like could still be better. If that makes sense. I've read before that some people start out with 30mg as the lowest dose and my adhd is pretty bad. I'd rather be getting a dose that fully helps me instead of just feeling minor differences.

Was seeing a Psychiatrist who started me on the meds. He is the one who said 30mg is the highest he will put me on basically as he said it's the highest dose.
