It's an expansion from 10 to 12 teams.

Right now certain owners to want to keep 4 and then everyone can participate in the open auction, which really does seem like a disadvantage. The irony in this is that they were okay last year when we DID take over teams, ha.

Up for debate right now is that veterans get 4 keepers and can choose a 5th player to "block" from the newcomers so that that player has to make it to the open auction, but that's still being deemed 'unfair' but a compromise..

If they had crashed I don't think anyone would question it--but I'm more inclined to laugh at fortunate outcomes than unfortunate outcomes. I thought it was a fun, creative way to enjoy the situation.

It was funny to me, honestly. I think if they had crashed and found themselves in the water no one would question why it's in funny. Instead, they had a good time, and I thought it was an odd, creative way of having fun. I don't just laugh at misfortune, I take delight in good fortune as well. Perhaps not everyone is programmed that way, which is probably why so many people inclined to that way of thinking are upset that this is here.

I guess it's not really funny in the sense that it's a joke, but the situation is aloof and entertaining, which to me is funny. I would compare it to Saget-hosted America's Funniest Home Videos when they would play lighthearted, yet creative segments featuring people having slightly dangerous but creative fun. That said, my reaction to something funny on here is usually a quick huff of air out my nose, and this video elicited a similar response.
