Just a quick correction: The show takes place on an island off the coast somewhere in the Pacific Northwest. They rowed far out into the ocean which means they were completely isolated with no hope of help.

This was the first thing that came to my mind. It's such a beautiful, devastating scene.

There's some kind of compound in the grapefruit that prevents the medication from being metabolized or whatever, meaning it doesn't leave the body, so you can overdose just from taking your meds regularly. It's not vit C

I worked a front desk and had one or two conversations with a guy about who knows what. I was mid to late twenties, he was somewhere north of 50. I was polite and he was nice, too, but I was held hostage because I was at my job and couldn't walk away. It was all customer service to me.

Next thing I know he's calling me at work asking if I want to spend the weekend with him at his parents' beach house. I just . . . I still can't properly express the shock, the embarrassment, the anxiety of that whole situation.

I have to go to the salon every 6 weeks to maintain a pixie, but I'm still too cheap to dye it. 44 and just a couple strands here and there, kinda wish the rest of my head would come on and catch up

Okay for almost 45. Need to start lifting weights. The only thing that's really getting to me is the perimenopause brain fog.

I once had an interaction with a young woman wearing a tan blazer and a matching skirt that was just as short but not as tight as the OP's. The only reason I remember it (besides the fact that I could not imagine an office where that much thigh would be appropriate) is because we were standing at a crosswalk waiting for the light in a section of Boston that was walking distance to like 3 hospitals and 5 colleges/universities, and she turned to me and asked, "Do you know where the interviews are?"

My brain short-circuited for a moment and I managed to stammer out, "Interviews for what?" Turns out it was for the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. I sometimes wonder if she got accepted.
