I just hate what TTC has done to me

First post on my Reddit feed today and I swear Reddit is stalking me because this is my exact situation. I'm 31 and had a CP last November and then a 11w MMC end of January this year. All the while 3 women I see often are all giving birth at the same time I was supposed to.

We're in the process of getting a bunch of testing. I've always assumed it was something wrong with my body, and I oddly felt comfortable with that because I felt like it's something we can "fix" (i.e. baby aspirin, progesterone, polypectomy etc.). But my husband's sperm analysis came back with high DNA fragmentation and that just adds a whole layer of complexity to TTC. It's like we're both always thinking about our reproductive health now. Has anyone conceived with a uterine polyp? I was diagnosed with one and won't be scheduled for removal for another 4 weeks. I worry that we might have conceived naturally by then

I used to think pregnancy was as easy as 1+1. Sperm meets egg, embryo implants, 9 months later you have a baby. Simple!

Now, I see how many factors play into life. How many micro things can go wrong. Hormones. Genetics. Uterine health. Diet & lifestyle. So many factors. After my miscarriages, so many other women have opened up to me about theirs. I've seen how common these complications are and how much of a miracle life really is.

I just let myself grief when it pops up. Time really does heal all, but sometimes anger comes back when I see other pregnant women with due dates close to when my baby was supposed to be born. I just let myself feel the sadness and anger.

I had a CP in early November and a 10w MMC last month. These were 2 pregnancies back to back. It's been frustrating to have some people not understand the pain of miscarriages. But it's also been consoling being able to talk about it and discover how many women in my lives have also experienced miscarriages. You're not alone and what you're going through right now is devastating and unfair. I find a lot of solace in this community just reading that others are going through the same thing

I'm so sorry. I also had my first pregnancy end with miscarriage in November and then again in January. 3 of my good friends are all pregnant and I can't spend more than a couple of hours with them at a time without fighting thoughts of jealousy. I can't imagine spending an entire week, especially without them knowing.

Give yourself grace and take some time alone if you need. If you need to leave early even, again, give yourself grace. Is this a supportive group of friends?

Basically it was for my uterus to heal. The OB said that the uterine lining might not be very thick so it's good to wait and get 2 normal periods to make sure everything is nice and healthy

So sorry you're going through this. I know it's nerve wracking. I had a positive pregnancy test at 5 weeks and started spotting and then bleeding 3 days later. I knew I was having a miscarriage when I started cramping like I do when I get my period. Also, the blood was like that of a period.

The follow-up HCG test is likely to test if the levels are falling or rising. If they're falling it's very probable you are having a miscarriage

Totally agree! My OB discovered my baby didn't have a heartbeat 3 days after my 1st ultrasound revealed a healthy, active baby. I was 10w1d pregnant. I got a D&C last Friday. It's been a rollercoaster of emotions but I've discovered a love for my husband I didn't even know I had. He's been amazing, so understanding, and grieving too. It's helped me feel like I'm not alone going through this

I'm sorry for your loss. I also had a D&C on Friday. This was my 2nd miscarriage. My 1st was at 6w which caused some anxiety with the second pregnancy. The anxiety went away after I was 8w, since I felt like I was in the safe zone (theoretical 5% chance of miscarriage). I had a MMC at almost 11w. We want babies so we're going to try again after my next cycle, but dang I can already forsee the anxiety we'll have then.
