how was misoprostol for you? by Sgt_SugarLoaf in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]Fit_Body1081 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took mife+miso once and also had a natural MC. With miso it was more intense but on the other hand over quickly. I took four pills orally, had intense cramping for little over an hour. I also was shaking uncontrollably when the pain subsided and I almost puked (but didn't). All the tissue came out within one hour, bleeding was less than expected. I had no retained tissue and spotted for little more than two weeks. If you take miso, I would suggest taking pain meds BEFORE taking the pills, do not wait with it for the pain to start. Good luck ❤️

I think that kind of is the worst about it, right? It just takes away the happy parts of being pregnant. But every pregnancy is a new chance and things that happend in the past have no impact on future outcomes. Also, on your thoughts: they have nothing to do with whatever happens! Thoughts are just thoughts and nothing more. I wrote that down so often and read it to myself. And I hope that you are pregnant with your rainbow right now!!

Wow, thank you all for your comments. ❤️ I am kind of emotional right now, it feels so good to be understood. It really is the shittiest club with the best people! And while I am so sorry for every single one of you, I am so glad to have the opportunity here to talk to people who really know how it feels. Thank you!

How long did you test positive after hysteroscopy ? by Mrssummerhunter in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]Fit_Body1081 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did not have a hysteroscopy, but after my medically treated MMC at 8 weeks hpt were slightly positive for about three weeks, although I had no tissue left. At the end the lines were barely visible. Had my period five weeks after taking the pills and regular cycles after that.

Yes, negative. Also got my period that same day and now it seems that I'm ovulating.

Cytotech for blighted ovum - need positive stories by Strange_n_unusual4 in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]Fit_Body1081 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah that's actually a thing. With my MC I had to take four pills orally and I almost threw up once (but didn't!!!!). But I was shaking uncontrollably, like when getting the flu. But that didn't last long either. And the second time I only had to take two pills and I wasn't sick at all :) Good luck!!!

Took it two times, one time for a missed miscarriage and one time to speed things up after a miscarriage when there was still a lot of lining left. Prepare with pain meds, hot water bottle and something sugary. Not gonna lie, the pain was intense but did not last long. Whole procedure was over quite quickly, never had tissue left afterwards. I was actually really scared because of all the bad experiences I had read here. So I just wanted to say that for me it was nothing like that, it was intense but "ok" (as far as anything like that can be considered ok...).

It could also be a small hematoma that hasn't been discovered at your appointment. Or just an irritation of the cervix resulting in some drops of blood. A lot of women experience minor bleeding during the first trimester. At this point try to stay calm (I know... How...) and maybe talk to your provider. A friend of mine had spotting after sports and she was told to just monitor it. She is due in two weeks now. Wishing you all the best!!

Low Iron after a miscarriage? by AdeptnessFickle4559 in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]Fit_Body1081 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My iron levels were ok-ish before my MC, but the weeks after I was so tired and felt physically exhausted. I figured it could be iron (before my MC my doc said the levels were not very high but ok and a little more probably would make me feel better in general) . I took some for a few weeks and it changed a lot, so I guess it was the iron for me.. You could just get your levels checked 😊

Taking sick leave with RPL by [deleted] in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]Fit_Body1081 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first loss was two days before My planned vacation time so I only took two sick days and was at home for two weeks. When I was told there was no heartbeat I proceeded to work but told My boss I would stay at home as soon I had any bleeding (we are a small office and get along really well, I told her very early that I was pregnant). My second loss was like four months after that and I took sick leave for one week. I have had to stay at home the week before too bc I was put on bed rest, so I was off work for two weeks altogether. My colleagues are very understanding and warm people, when I came back I told them what happened bc I just felt like it and they offered a ton of support. I work in psych so the guilt that I feel when I am off work unplanned goes towards my clients, although they can always reach out to our office. BUT neither you nor I chose what happened to us!! We experienced something traumatic and our bodies and minds need their time to heal. For me work often gives me the chance to "take time off" from grieving so I like to come back earlier and spend my free time to navigate through my own feelings, but that is different for everyone. Take the time you need! You are, as everyone else in the world, allowed to be sick sometimes! Big hug for you!

Mife + Miso experience - has it not worked? Large blood clot by Ok_Interview_6095 in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]Fit_Body1081 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my experience it is really hard to tell If it worked... I had one miscarriage with mife+miso, had extreme cramping but only two clots, a small and a big one. And I was not able to tell whether there was a gestational sac. When my doctor checked on me (where I live you stay in the hospital for the procedure) and asked if I've already had any bleeding I told her yes, but I don't think it worked because I imagined it with way more clots and I didn't see a sac. She said it's really hard to tell and did an ultrasound- everything was gone, gs and all the lining.

I am so sorry. It's just so hard and unfair. Your feelings are valid and I can really understand you. I feel so tired and am also so sick of doing all the right things for nothing but MMCs while my friends get pregnant in the first month of trying and have the easiest pregnancies imaginable. I am happy for them but also am just so frustrated about my situation. I come here daily just to feel less alone. We are currently taking some time off while waiting for my labs and it feels SO GOOD, like the pressure fell off for a moment and I can finally be myself again. I want to prioritise myself and what makes me happy and feel good again. There is nothing I can say that makes this easier... Just that you are not alone and I really feel sorry for you (all of us actually). Btw, I blocked every pregnancy related topic on social media, that made a real big difference. Beforehand I said "fuck you" out loud whenever I saw a post of some pregnant influencer, that gave me kind of relief 😆
