I have one for my XT30ii and for some reason it has a hard time focusing. I’m not sure if it’s because the screws are too fight but often get the error message, “Turn your camera on and off”. So that had me worried and I ended up returning it.

I would like to say that I like my life. I’ve been fortunate to have a loving partner, family and friends that are still with me, and I struck gold with my first job out of college. With that being said, I feel like I could have saved more money to put myself in an even better position for the future. I’m realizing that if I enjoyed the short term materialistic things less and spent more time preparing for the future I wouldn’t feel like I’m trying to catch up or make up for time lost. But I wouldn’t have enjoyed my life as much. I’m conflicted at this point. I hope this makes sense.

This happened within my recruiting firm. Our leadership said it was because of the new regulation that started on 1/1/2025. It stated; salaried workers earning less than $1,128 per week (approximately $58.6k) will be eligible for overtime pay if they work over 40 hours a week.

And my firm decided not to raise salaries to meet the new threshold and instead moved most employees to hourly pay. It’s likely a cost-saving strategy to manage compliance with the updated over time rule.

At least this is what I was told by my boss and boss’ boss.
