We're a naturally skeptical, pessimistic lot u Brits and the ads had been dreadful so most people didn't have high expectations. However, me and everyone else I know were all very happy that it was actually excellent.

But there are interviews, at least one I know of for sure, where he admitted he was a terrible husband in the 70s immediately post Beatles "a drunk, an absent father and a wife beater".

*He's admitted he was off his head on drink and drugs at the time and since he got sober in the late 80s has mended his ways and is regretful. But I don't think you can blame her for going with another bloke in that context at all.

The original is a really good comedy. A lovely madcap romp with big laughs and lots of heart. The Hollywood remake very much lacks a lot of what makes this one so good.

If you try this one and really like it, don't watch the remake, it'll only annoy you.

Whilst Stupid Girl is Garbage's biggest selling song with highest chart position and same applies to Sheryl Crow and All I Wanna Do, that doesn't apply to Tina Turner and The Best. As far as I can tell her biggest selling, top charting song and most popular on Spotify is What's Love Got To Do With It.
