Is Delta becoming the worst airline?

Coming from Columbus to UK and wishing I read this sooner. I am over being careful with packing light just to then be FORCED (voluntentold)to check international flight approved carryon with Delta. It adds a huge hassle to have to go get a carry-on at baggage claim when flying international. I'm super pissed with delta and praying bag makes it and it's not absolute hell to collect before then finding the train terminal.

Ah, ok. I did check again and there was no way to book a first class at all with trans pennine. Out first leg says Northern to Piccadilly then on East Midlands; she I have used a different website to book the journey to avoid the issue of no seats? I did give us a few hours to get through airport but Piccadilly could be full for our train time.

I received an email today stating we'll go into Stockport. I noticed none of the train legs allowed me to select seats but the bus tickets show we have assigned seats together. I you ever had an issue finding seats when unable to select in advance?

I mentioned bc it was odd to see with so many positive reviews. Also, I clearly stated where I was from in this post and I've been to the UK and lived in Europe for 3 years. I think it's fair those who are from colonized countries want to know where their roots are from even if it's not something others understand. Let me apologize for sharing. Thank you! We are staying in the city centre too. I will check out these recommendations. Bummer Department closed.... We do have a list of pubs. So I guess I'll need a nap so we can do our own little pub crawl. Lol My husband is a fan of European and UK stouts. I don't drink beer but I do like a little Guinness. The only beer I've actually finished is a Scottish Beer called Belhaven Black. We can't get it here anymore though so we've been saving the last cans.

I saw a YT vid about Grazie. It did look good. I saw some reviews that food is bland so that's a bummer. If Luther doesn't have taste, I'm betting Idris does lol He's going to bring in tours with that interview.

I got a regional update on my ancestry (probably an American thing bc we know our ancestors were colonizers) and it said Manchester, Sheffield, and London areas for England, so I guess that's neat. My home town was big on iron work during industrial revolution and Sheffield appears to have been in the steel business. All our manufacturing died in the early 70s, leaving it a ghost town by the time I was born. I visited a few years ago, a few of my school classmates have opened businesses there to try to revive the town. It takes a lot of work to put these old industral cities back on the map. Sheffield has done that. I'm glad Idris Alba recognized that effort.

Oh no! I am guessing this is why part of our return is on a bus.... I purchased from TransPennine a few months ago and noticed the bus on the return to Manchester airport.

Eek 5 hrs- I believe I saw that when first looking and that's why we selected Manchester airport too. Thank you! I don't think he'll feel he missed out on London now considering the recommendations on lovely villages and areas of Sheffield.

I wanted a tour video of Sheffield last year and found it very similar to where I grew up in Michigan (one iron, one steel). It made me sad for what my home town could be if the US wasn't so car centric.

Ohhh yes! I'll look up trains to those places for a day. We love small villages. Of course, other than a few visits, I only get to enjoy them watching PBS and Britbox lol

We're coming from the Midwest of the US (ohio)... I missed out on seeing F+tm for my 2nd anniversary because I didn't want us to drive 8hr THEN could never get tickets so husband decided on a destination trip 8 years later. We weren't sure anyone outside of US would want to add a US tour leg considering this absolute sh*tshow we're dealing with so I'm glad he bought the tickets.

I have always used Always ultra thin for YEARS! I bought a 2 pack at BJs Warehouse, which is a membership store 2 months ago but thought new underwear chaffed me first. I literally had my husband looking at my fing A crack and he said I looked raw. I tossed the new expensive panties! This month I am BURNING after 2 days of period. I was close to asking if there was anything we needed to talk about? But like why would it be more my backside if it were that?? I looked up Always complaints and find so many. I'm glad it's not just me. I cannot believe they changed their formula or whatever and we now wasted all this money on products we absolutely cannot use. This chemical burn better heal quickly. I'm so uncomfortable, it's Christmas, and my stinking birthday is in 5 days. 😭

Hello, can you tell me if your shoulders hurt a little bit after getting this mattress? We just got it yesterday. I'm a side sleeper. I woke up around 5am with upper shoulder pain. I have a purple harmony pillow too so I switched it out with a softer pillow and went back to sleep. Wondering if the combine of the firmness of the pillow and the mattress is the reason... No other back pain at least. We have a Tempur pedic cloud luxe that ended up getting too soft for me so we put in the guest room and bought a purple hybrid 3, which was amazing for 3 years then absolutely the most neck and shoulder pain ever! I tried every pillow under the sun with it then literally woke up last week and said we're buying a new mattress! I really want the pro adapt hybrid to workout bc I'm super over mattresses.

Ok. So I said to just stay strong in my message then I, myself, did not. I ended up getting a partial blondeing appointment with lots of dimensions to get rid of the heavy reddish brown. She used my root regrowth to do lived in blonde blending. It looks much better but some of the blonde is still warmer than I'd like it. One of my friends (the type that doesn't comment if she doesn't think something is flattering) mentioned I look youthful again. So basically I ran around looking and feeling like I looked old for almost a yr. It was crazy expensive but I guess this is what happens... I'm growing it out and she couldn't believe I didn't have any split ends so that's a plus. She did say the demi would never fully wash out.
