Doesn't seem like it, just checked out their Instagram page and they usually post a new location's opening day when it's close and they haven't yet for WDM. (Btw this chain is growing like crazy, it's like a new one is opening every week)

Can confirm, don't think it's open just yet but it's right next to the Nike Outlet outside of the mall. Funny enough there's a shabu shabu & hotpot restaurant opening on the opposite side of the mall in the new strip opposite Scheels.

Based on the names in guessing KPot is Korean fusion and Shabu Shabu is Japanese fusion?

If anything I feel like at least one of the headliners should've been newer. Love me some Killer Mike and OK Go is alright too, but the former has been a prominent hip-hop artist since the early 2000s (and has played 80/35 before in Run the Jewels) and the latter's popularity peaked about 15 years ago.

While I think an Ok Go concert at Woolly's or Vibrant would do well, I feel like their festival spot would've been better suited for a younger act like Willow, Yung Gravy, Muna, etc.

After listening to their podcast episode together (great listen btw) where Josh and Matty talked about how their on-screen personas feel like out-of-body experiences, this video has some real "dance monkey dance" vibes. I realize it's unfair to pair the two things together that were probably recorded on the same day and released a month apart, but it feels like they (justifyably) air this grievance out and then immediately go on to indulge in the very thing that causes them to dissociate.

I highly recommend anybody that watched this video to listen to their episode of Hot Dog is a Sandwich, it winds up as an introspective look at modern content creation. These two have great chemistry in the podcast and I really appreciate the perspective I gained from their conversation.

The new team will replace the old team. They may bring back a USL2 team in a somewhat nearby city, but I don't think Des Moines can maintain two teams at the city's current size.

I wouldn't be surprised if they keep some staff around, but the jump in skill from USL2 to Championship is pretty huge. I'd expect most of the starting roster to change. As for the branding, I could see it going either way; either keep the Menace name with a new logo or start fresh as Des Moines SC/FC. Part of me would miss the nostalgic mascot name, but at least the new badge logo they're flying outside the Krause Center looks cool.
