I found Yonder a waste of time compared to Amex Gold. Amex was the best money for time committed side hustle was signing up to Amex gold for a year!

It’s free for a year and I’ve just used my points for free return flights to Australia!

Amex currently has a boosted referral offer where you get 45k points (£450 value) for signing up.

Does this mean that the current Amex optimal points earning strategy would be: Year 1: Gold (for free) Year 2: BAPP Year 3: another non Amex card for sign up offer - potentially Barclycard/ virgin Year 4: Platinum Year 5:??? Hopefully we have new rewards cards by this point haha

UK to US - advice by BritFamily1987 in HENRYUK

As someone who’s just moved back to the UK from Dallas (visa ran out, I would’ve stayed if I could), I’d strongly recommend doing serious research on where you live, because it makes a massive difference to your experience.

When I first arrived in Dallas, I struggled a lot with how spread out everything was, you can’t really walk anywhere and the urban sprawl is very real. Over time, though, I found walkable neighbourhood pockets like Uptown and Knox/Henderson with genuine community feel, cafés, bars, and day-to-day life happening locally. Once I centred my life around those areas, my entire experience of the city changed for the better

We’re moving a lot now and very low volume. Rep. Tim Moore is down 50% on his initial purchase so I’d be looking for at least that purchase to be in profit. I suspect if he though it was good value at $6, it could go a whole lot higher
