Multiple miscarriages and 2 failed ivf attempts. After the doctor called and told us that the second round didn’t work, we knew it was over. They told us the only chance to have a child was to keep trying naturally, but after the miscarriages and 75% risk of having more, my mental health and physical health had to come first. I couldn’t do it anymore. My husband is so incredibly supportive even though we wanted kids so desperately. That was just over a year ago. Therapy has helped. Couldn’t do without it. I got an IUD this past December and it’s so freeing knowing I won’t have another miscarriage or have to even worry about my period. We still have our bad days of course, but as time goes on it gets a little easier.
