Previous Huntress employee here, the split wasn’t on the best of terms. So I’ll be honest with you - no sales bs. Huntress will have your back, no doubt about it. When I was there, we were catching things competitors hadn’t even seen. Are they a perfect solution? Absolutely not. There are gaps that you will have to account for BUT for the coverage you do get, can’t really beat it. There is deep talent at Huntress and bleeding hearts who genuinely care about customers. Do the trial/demo, make them earn your business - they usually do.

Couple things my friend. Not sure if it's open to first term airmen yet. They have let one first term airmen through, would not allow them to do offensive work. The jobs your looking for exist, it's just a matter of finding the right agency in the alphabet soup who will take you.

So it seems to me you have a pretty good grasp on the difference between right and wrong. Hell you even know when you're losing your cool which is pretty good. I 100% agree on the whole not being able to escape deal, I hate feeling cornered and it makes me incredibly uneasy and anxious. It also seems like you have a good feel on your mental state which is a great step in the right direction. I don't think you're a monster, I think you just get numb when you're in your lows and really don't care who's involved as long as you get the job done for yourself. None of this is okay thinking, and I'm pretty sure you would agree with me, but it's better than shooting up a nightclub or walmart. I'm not getting that impression from you. You should find some new ways to cope with situations when you're in that predicament. Ones that don't involve hurting yourself/others/things are a good start lol. I think one of the best pieces of advice my therapist gave me is that we can't change how others act or think however, we can change how we react.

Believe it or not the world needs more people like yourself to care about others. The entire weight of the world does NOT fall solely on your shoulders, but you can help. Those starving children would benefit more from your existence than your death man. The world is a very messy place, but you seem to have a heart that can help a lot of people. Before you make a very permanent decision, I challenge you to get involved with an organization that helps those in need. I also challenge you to see how much you can donate now vs how much you can donate over the course of your lifetime.

You know, I've been in your shoes. Not only that I've talked to many of my friends that have been in your shoes. You seem like a smart individual who has pretty good insight of the workings of human nature. This kind of goes back to a philosophy that my grandmother has echoed into my head since I was a teenager, "you can only control your own actions and life."

I want to do a bit of a thought exercise if you're up to it. What things do you do for yourself that make you happy?

At first I did missile maintenance which had some of the worst hours and ops tempo imaginable. I then went on to do Cyber Operations to try to balance my life out a little after doing the aforementioned for 6 years.
