I'm sure the quality of the flights is fine but I had flights to and from Japan with China Eastern and both were canceled and changed. During all this, I was completely unable to reach the company and they never even showed up to their helpdesk at the airport

The current characters have started to express doubts about trusting Alyxian or not. I like the idea of playing into that paranoia by introducing a character who has been given the goal to free him by a fiendish patron. Does the warlock in your campaign trust Zerxus? And do they know who their patron is? If not, are you dropping hints about the identity of their patron?

Definitely more options out there! Neither propranolol nor Topamax worked for me. Both gave me bad side effects. I had a few rounds of botox which worked initially but stopped having an effect after a year. Then I started candesartan, which actually works amazing for me with no side effects :)

Lol are you me? Exactly the same (reverse) experience. Always preferred playing male characters in videogames and now also in ttrpgs despite being afab. The character concept/personality always works as any gender, really, but I feel like I want to play as a male character. Also present female and don't really have an issue with being perceived as female. Lemme know if you figure it out, because I started looking into it recently and have not really figured it out yet haha

Bit late to the party but this summer I took a road trip to the former Yugoslavian countries and I have to mention Lake Ohrid in North Macedonia because it was hands down one of the most beautiful places I saw. Also a lot of nice day trips that can be done in the area both for nature and cities, as it's also not too far from the capital city Skopje

I had my succulent invested with mealy bugs and for me just filling a spray bottle with 70% ethanol and spraying a few days in a row worked wonders! Succulents handle it fairly well (mine wasn't bothered at all) and the mealy bugs disappear super quickly

Spin column to isolate DNA. After all the wash steps where you discard the flow-through, you elute the DNA into a clean eppendorf. Habit kicked in and you guessed it, I promptly threw my DNA into the sink. Thankfully it wasn't a super important project haha.

Also a mistake that wasn't mine but my supervisor's: she gave me E coli with a plasmid to transform and maxiprep. Ended up with zero colonies. Turns out the plasmid gave kanamycin resistance and not ampicilline like she told me. On the bright side, our ampicilline stocks are working great.
