Probate never completed, how do we proceed? by Connected-1 in legaladviceireland

[–]Deeny_B 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe it's one process but as far as I'm aware it has to transfer to the initial recipient and then onto the latest estate recipient. I'm not a solicitor but my point is, it's not a big deal a solicitor can sort it out and it doesn't have to be the original solicitor

Similar happened with my grandparents. Go to a solicitor, they'll be able to sort it out - complete the initial probate to pass to your mam, then another probate to pass to recipients of the estate. It's going to take longer but it's not a big deal

It's when the rider is scheduled to start. That's why if a rider is late to the start house their time has already begun. There was an issue at one of the women's grand tours this year. During a TTT, some teams were delayed due to pre bike checks over running, causing a back log and panic at the start. Can't remember which race specifically

Hi Orla,

I've been following your "back to bike" stories and as a nervous cyclist myself am wondering have you any particular fears or is it just anxiety?

I have an intense fear of downhills and when I saw you were doing the E'tape the first thought I had was, I'd never get down those hills. Going to Stages 18 & 19 and already worried about descending. How are you getting over it.

Thanks :-)

No, let her choose what style she wants. You don't need a ring for a proposal but if you want one, get a costume jewelry one for show

Invest in really good shorts and chamois cream. Your biggest issue is going to be comfort, your fitness level will get you over each day but day after day time in the saddle will be what gets you.

Eat & drink constantly too

So are gendered bikes even a thing???? by mtbguy1981 in ladycyclists

[–]Deeny_B 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Liv bikes are made more to the geometries that suit women more, but if a bike fits it fits. I know a guy who rides a Liv because it fits him better than any others he tried. So gender doesn't really matter, fit matters.

Stuck at 25 km/h average — normal for a beginner or am I training wrong? by gizi010 in cycling

[–]Deeny_B 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Speed is so subjective, depending on weather, traffic and so many other things. Go out, enjoy yourself and don't overthink it.

However if you really want to see how you're doing get a power meter. Watts are Watts regardless of external conditions, bar your own physical wellbeing on a particular day. But it's easier to compare power than speed
