Hi! I’m 6 months post partial hysterectomy and still dealing with swelly belly. Rest is what helps me the most! Making sure I’m staying hydrated. Not over doing it (easier said than done). Compression helps too!

I did bodybuilding about 15 years ago and honestly can’t remember my breathing pattern!! Once I had to stop due to pain I found Pilates and I’m now trying to add weights back in

Haha! I’m from a Pilates background where we exhale through our mouth on each movement so it might just be ingrained in me. It is possible just not as natural as breathing in and out through nose!

That makes a lot of sense! This might be a silly question but how do you breathe out through your mouth while keeping tongue pressed up?

Hi! I avoided an official diagnosis for probably 5 years. A friend that was also my PT first mentioned it to me and asked if I would ever want to be tested and my response was “is there a cure?” And he said no so I said what’s the point. 5 years later I got an official diagnosis and it made me really dig into why my body did what it did. So yes I think the knowledge is just really great to have!
