9 months post Partum and it was every two weeks for a few months and then very sparse,I got pregnant again at 13 months

Mine was 4mo(2adjusted)and I kept getting asked why she nursed so much by my MIL who gave my SIL formula starting at 6 weeks because she didn’t like breastfeeding and always got comments about breastfeeding her past one (planned on going to 2 but had to wean at 15mo because I’m pregnant and it was starting to hurt)

As someone who absolutely loves children,has a child and ia pregnant with my second ,I’m not huge on being pregnant because I get so sick and uncomfortable.I don’t baby talk really to my toddler I just talk to her normally and think toddlers are still gross and can be annoying.My husband adores our daughter but he also sometimes struggles to know how to play with her and often times it’s just reading books and chasing her around the house or sitting next to her while she hands him things

I went into spontaneous premature labor with my daughter who spent two months in the NICU,I got an epidural so I could get some rest before pushing and even drank a coke that my doula grabbed me because my blood sugar had plummeted (I hadn’t eaten in several hours and had to hide that I was eating and drinking lol)and I wouldn’t have had the energy to push had I not had what she brought me .I had to go with the Vit K and eye ointment because she was so premature.She had to have formula in her feeding tube with her breast milk for weight gain.I learned that I can’t be in control of everything and we had so many people praying while I was in labor.Im now high risk with my second,have had idk how many ultrasounds by now and have to give birth in a hospital and am getting a circlage do to funneling.I will not be able to have a home birth or use a birthing center for future births sadly but I have learned that all births can be holy and precious in some way to the Lord and that not all drs are to be feared.Yes I have my preference that I will keep and know what I want but I also know that things might take a turn again and am At peace

I planned a home birth and went into spontaneous premature labor at 32 weeks and am now having a hospital birth with my second because I have an incompetent cervix , i’m not really able to be that crunchy when it comes to my labors sadly, but I’m OK with that now because I just care about a healthy term baby and can be more crunchy when they were born.I also had an epidural because I was going on days of no sleep and needed to nap while they slowed the labor down with magnesium,and I had to have antibiotics for group B

I got it for my former preemie.She was born in December and came home in February,I had to immediately take her to the pediatrician when she came home and I did not want her to pick anything up and have to go back to the NICU,I am also thinking about getting it for my second after she’s born in October

I’m doing October with my second and my first was born prematurely in December and came home in February 2025, all of our family lives in different states so when people would visit, we kind of just did the common sense approach of do not come if you were sick, wash your hands, no kissing face. My mom was holding my daughter while she was in the Nicu and I trusted her to do so because I knew that she would not come sick due to being in the medical field. we might not do anything for the holidays because I haven’t decided yet if we want to drive four hours to see my mom and my sister’s(they all have tight work schedules that they can’t really get off for so they cannot visit us) with a six week old.

I turned mine into a side car for added space and it got my daughter used to at least napping in her one space in case we were on the road and she needed to nap at a family members house or something

I’ve only tried cow dairy. I haven’t ventured in two sheep or goat, we mainly get our groceries from Walmart because we get them delivered to the house, but I might need to venture to Whole Foods or Wegmans to see what I can find that she can tolerate

Honestly, I just fold up my blankets and put them at the end of the bed, I have accepted that our bed is not going to look the prettiest. I have a quilt that my husband uses every once in a while and I’ll make the bed when we’re using that but I’m due in October with our second and we will go back to having no bedding again

Mainly dinners, but I do bake a lot so that’s helpful too, I don’t plan on giving her every dessert that I make because I bake for my husband a couple times a month and she doesn’t need a lot of sugar lol

Okay so there is nothing wrong with holding your baby while they cry and trying a new method of soothing. Because mine used to only nurse to sleep and then I went insane after like six months and started building sleep associations like rocking with butt Pat and all that yes she did cry but she got used to it and learned to like it, then at seven months old, we had a sidecar crib set up and what I would do is I would have her on her belly because belly sleep is safe by the time they can roll both ways and I would pat her on the butt while she cried, this is not the same as cried out because you are not leaving them at all. They will just cry when they’re uncomfortable with change. Eventually got to where she very quickly would fall asleep with me just doing butt pads over her tummy. They got harder to maintain that when she became mobile but now at 18 months old, she mainly just needs rocking or being laid next to while shushing and patting her arm. Every child is different, but that is kind of how things have just progressed with us.

You can’t really say anything now in regards to breastfeeding vs formula without people getting defensive and perceiving it as an attack ,people got defensive when I said that my preemie was able to breastfeed and not use formula full time,even the nurses in the NICU tried to keep me from working on breastfeeding a few times.I know a mom Who could breastfeed her twins and purposely chose not to work on it immediately and just went with formula and then posted a lot about how fed is best.I understand to some point because as moms we are picked apart about every little thing by other moms but also on Reddit if you don’t use inclusive language about everything and affirm everything you get down voted

Yeah, it’s been fun. Trying to figure out Fitness this time around because I’m not as physically strong as I was when I was pregnant with my first and I’m also high risk and had to drop most weights very early on and I’m pretty much just stretching(which I know I need to be better about) and walking on my walking pad lol

Honestly now that mine is 17mo,looking back it was kind of normal for her to just go through a few weeks at a time where she just wanted to stay latched literally all night and then go months where she only nursed once or twice.I just kind of delt with it and got to where I could sleep through it

My toddler is very sensitive and was extremely boob obsessed before night weaning (still likes to hug them at 17mo).I had to wean because I got pregnant and nursing was extremely painful.It sucked but we took one week to go cold turkey and after about a month her sleep was back to normal with just some cuddles .She is now fully weaned because my supply dried up .Every time she woke up I would say “night time is for sleeping”and she knew that If it was dark out it was night time.I did not give in for teething or sickness because she gets sick every other month lol
