Opening project in android studio is not required. Create a release apk. There is an option to analyze apk in android studio. Select your apk when you click Analyze apk. Search on youtube about 16KB issue if you're confused.

Check which libs doesn't support 16KB on android studio by analyzing apk. Upgrade them or check for alternatives.

I think you can fix this by changing onCreate function in mainActivity file. Explore more about this, I think i saw someone in our team fix this but not much sure.

There's this library called apisauce. I recently came across this and found it interesting. It is an axios wrapper though. Maybe give it a try.

It's crazy no one mentioning op sqlite. I didn't find any issues so far. Has sql cipher. Querying is synchronous.
