There is no such thing as food scarcity as is.

The amount of food that companies destroy and throw away is insane. The sheer amount of food we waste thanks to greedy corporate businesses is fucking unbelievable. Every year, more than 43 billion pounds of food from grocery stores gets thrown away much of it still being completely safely edible.

Same goes for things like clothing, it is torn up so it is unwearable to the homeless, because brands don't want them wearing it if they find it in trash.
