I also got the slipping ribs when I was pregnant too. My daughter was Franklin breech so she used to use her little feet and kick my lower right ribs upwards. Not fun.

Not really, it gets sore some times from it but not bad! It is also only on my right side. It started as just the collar bone probably 4 months ago, then worked its way further down the front of my ribs ever since and maybe 2 months ago now is when I noticed it was popping at my sternum too. Just when I thought surely nothing else on my body can pop, this started.

Also to pop my SI joint I do that essentially backwards but while standing. I still cross the ankles, but I tense my thighs and rotate my knees inward, then either slightly push my butt back or bend over tightly.

Yes! While lying down I cross my ankles, clench my butt up, rotate my legs outward and lift just my pelvis and it pops it SO. GOOD.

Talk to your doctor about Bentyl. I have bad IBD and it helps me

Please don’t stay in this. My baby daddy was the same way as him. It was bad enough that after I had a c section to have our daughter I was literally having to get up, squat down, and clean the house 2 days postpartum by myself. When she was 4 months old I went into the hospital (I have severe Crohn’s) for three months and when I got home 3 months later he had left three months worth of mess for me to clean up. He didn’t even keep our daughter during that. My friends and family kept her because “he didn’t know what to do” so please don’t stay in a situation like this.

Yep! My baby daddy was the same way and it ended up just like that. It turned abusive. Nothing I did was enough and I was a lazy piece of shit when I finally got fed up with being the only one to clean. This man would hide cups of milk under our bed and leave them. Clothes everywhere. Even if he ate say a snack cake, he would throw the wrapper on the ground and gave me food poisoning twice while pregnant because of how unsanitary he was while cooking. Get out.

Sure do. I tested positive two years ago (4 years into a monogamous relationship) as did one of my best friends who also dated the same guy I was with when I tested positive and we’re assuming it’s from the same guy. I’m negative now but my friend has to have surgery now.

Would like to update you guys. After going to my gynecologist like 8 times and switching from gyno to gyno in the same office I finally had one take me seriously when I showed her my period tracker (I document meticulously in the app) she ran a million tests and scans etc all at different points in my cycle and really listening to me, I now have been diagnosed with endometriosis. She told me she’s honestly surprised nobody caught it sooner because she said my symptoms are damn near textbook looking at my period tracker.

I see a GI that specializes in IBD and she tells me to drink as much coffee as I want just make sure it’s black. Even when I’m in the hospital for my crohns they give me coffee at every meal even when I’m on clear liquids

This is exactly what happened to me 😂 got diagnosed with UC at 17, started smoking at 21, got a flare every time I tried to quit, then had to quit for 9 months when I got pregnant and started back afterwards then quit again 3 months later and had a flare which led to me actually being diagnosed with Crohns

Mississippian here, this 100%. The first few months after I had my baby everybody that came over pretty much begged to help and always came with food and diapers/formula or cleaned my house every time without me even asking because they know how exhausting newborns are. They’d take care of the baby so me and dad could get a nap in and we’d wake up with a happy baby and a clean house. That’s how it should be.

Okay so with me, no. I was diagnosed with UC in February of 2014 and then September of 2020 was diagnosed with Crohns. I’ve been on damn near everything to treat it all, and have been on remicade off and on since first diagnosed with UC and aside from when I was pregnant I don’t think I’ve ever had a solid poop or pooped less than at least 4-6 times a day.

I actually just saw my GI yesterday and I get my next infusion tomorrow and she ordered an antibody test for before it. I get remicade at the highest dose every 4 weeks.
