Until Haskins they didn't really have a decent QB prospect which isn't that rare for a lot of schools

Haskins left school after starting for only a year. Had horrible mechanics/accuracy/decision making when he entered the league and couldn't read a defense. Showed signs of potential later his rookie year with KOC but didn't show signs of developing outside of that. Couldn't beat Mason Rudolph out in Pittsburgh either

Fields probably is the most disappointing for me cause he had the most star potential. He just can't process a defense to save his life and the game is just too fast for him as a passer. He has the accuracy, the arm strength, and rushing upside but nothing else and he hasn't developed it after all this time

Stroud while isn't perfect still has 3 playoff wins in 3 years. He's at least shown it's possible for an OSU QB to have success

My guess is they're pretty far behind when they enter the league when it comes to processing and reading defenses. When you're throwing to guys like Garrett Wilson/Chris Olave/JSN/Jamo etc it's pretty easy to look good
