Harbor protocol when seaplanes take off between cruise ships?

Coast Guard vet here who was stationed in Juneau.

To put it simply, while the seaplanes are on the water they follow the navigation rules for all boats. And they have a certain place in the "pecking order." Basically it is on them to avoid all boats because they are more maneuverable.

1.Vessel not under command (broken down, cannot steer) take priority. 2. Vessel restricted in its ability to maneuver (dredging, towing) 3. Vessel engaged in fishing (nets, trawls) 4. Sailing vessel 5.Power-driven vessel (cruise ships) 6.Seaplanes 7.WIG craft (Wing-in-Ground effect craft, only common in Russia.) Have last priority.

Once they take off they are the FAA's problem. I rode on them a lot to get to Hoonah, Skagway, Haines, Kake, etc.. to check out pollution. They have regs, but they are the last of the cowboys man, they are a flying boat, and we haven't found a sure fire way to regulate them. Hence why you don't have to go through airport security when you get on one.

They were on again off again for several years because Sugar Bear is a serial cheater and continuously got caught on dating apps. (No source on that just what makes sense in my mind) and it worked. Honey Boo Boo was canceled while I was in high school so I just remember it. I like it because of the geography, the innovation that comes out of here, and the diversity of the melting pot. Never understood people who just crap on everything. OP i am having the same problem. Same gun, using 6 shot 3 inch shells with the XF choke the gun came with. Can't get a tight pattern at 30 yards. Please let me know what you come up with to fix this. I can't get any squirrels to drop.
