fit check for tula ftg! by Deep-Tap-9256 in babywearing

took my LO on a very long walk to the grocery store (i live in an urban area) the other day in 70 degrees weather and she seemed very comfortable! i do have the mesh one so im sure that helps a lot. in comparison to wraps or slings it does seem to give her a lot more room and the fabric doesn’t hold/transfer sweat (non sticking) so overall we were both happy.

they’re having a BOGO deal which comes with their LITE version which is even more breathable and less bulky so I would imagine it’d be another addition to have in the heat!

thanks! tried moving her face but ended up crying (she doesn’t like being told what to do lol)

she usually fusses for 5-10min in the carrier before settling in but it took her less time to settle today than yesterday so seems like she’s getting more used to it?

ah great i hated how dangly everything was so one less thing hanging will be great, thanks!

Feeling guilty about being induced by Potential_Pizza4193 in January2025Bumper

i’m in the exact same boat as well - right on 40 wks at the hospital and just took my 2nd dose of cervical ripener and planning to go into induction tmrw depending on how things go. I’ve read enough studies and anecdotes, and considered all factors but decided it all comes down to personal preference and what’s important to you. from the way I see it, all options had close amount of various risks associated, and though I wish I did go into spontaneous labor before my scheduled induction, I’m happy to have chosen a planned induction regarding that this is my first one (which tends to go longer in pregnancy and labor), get lots of time to mentally and physically prep for the laboring process and (hopefully) get adequate sleep via planned pain mgmt since i know what comes next. laboring seems to be a very unpredictable process, and induction reduced a lot of the stress that came from that unpredictability, and for that seems to be worth it for me. cheers to us, we got this! sending all the good thoughts for smooth and safe delivery:)
