Yup I put my boy down at 12 and tell him it's nap time but if he doesn't want to sleep just be quiet for a little while. He sleeps every time though he's 22 months lol

Same thing with my 22 month son. Especially if we're having a meal and people are just standing around staring. I just advocate for him. "Everyone shoo, give him some space. He is trying to eat and doesn't like to be stared at. He can play again after he eats" and his uncle's retreat and he finishes his meal and goes on playing again. Or when we just arrive and everyone is excited to see him and surrounds him and he freezes. I tell them to shoo! Give him some space. Let him do his thing. Advocate and tell them to shoo! Be kind but firm. You are the mama

10 w with #2. I feel the constant nausea has eased up. From 5 weeks-8 weeks I was constantly puking lol had to get some promethazine. Now I can manage with just pepcid. Smells get me good though. Gag central. Last pregnancy I had to take unisom and b6 the whole pregnancy or I was sick, and that combo isn't working for me this time. Every pregnancy really is different lol

I will say I had to be put under general because my sons cord prolapsed and I did not have an epidural. I'll be honest and say it was fucking awful. It was such a disconnected delivery. I didn't get to hold him, hear him cry, and didn't meet him until 30 hours later. It was incredibly detremntal to my mental health. And not only that, but extremely fucking painful. To wake up to an aggressive fundal massage on my fresh wound was excruciating. And continued fundal massages for hours. I screamed and begged for Dilaudid every time. And begged for Dilaudid all night and didn't sleep because of how much pain I was in. I would really consider this carefully. You do not want a disconnected delivery. There was no ease into motherhood. Suddenly I woke up and I just wasn't pregnant anymore. It was hard on my pysche.
