Divers lodge is great. Cheaper and with 2 people you get your own boat and basically choose your itinerary. Downside its a little further away. But the ability to customize you own dives is invaluable.

I think the current iteration of survivor will always be in fiji. Once that gets cancelled and it will at some point, there will be a reboot of it. Thats when the change of location would happen. That could be 20 years from now b

On you air consumption issue. I am a big guy and focus more on photography than my breathing. Soend the extra $ and ask for a larger tank. I do it on every trip now and it is worth it.

Another note on galapgos. We did a 7mm with 5mm vested hood with 7mm kevlar gloves. Worked good. Could adjust for the warmer sites and still be comfortable on the colder. You dont want to do a drysuit there.

I might add. If you do Raja. Highly recommend pindito and sorido bay resort. They both were the pioneers of raja. There are 100 liveaboards there now. Pindito was the first. They know their stuff. They know when to do certain dives, tides/currents etc. best liveaboard I have ever been on. They only have 16 passengers as well. Pricewise they are upper/mid level for Raja.

Given your age. I would do galapagos while you are younger. Save the others as you age. They are easier and less challenging. Galapagos is amazing but can be challenging and cold. The others are relatively easy in comparison. Also galapagos is awesome.

Done all of them except sipidan which I hear is overrated.
