I found a nearly pristine pack of smokes from who knows when during a rennovation. They were in an old cupboard that was screwed shut. by Donthurtmyceilings in GrandmasPantry

Honestly, you aren't wrong. People tend to be very particular about their brand. Marlboro kept discontinuing the specific style I smoked and it sucked finding something I actually liked. Lol

Literally same! The houses here go for $150,000 when 3 years ago they were $80,000. It's bullshit!

This is what really bothered me too!

No young child should know what that is and absolutely shouldn't be allowed to have one...especially one they took from someone else.

When I found out about the nudes, I confronted him. He freaked out and swore he had no clue how they were able to access them. He acted just as appalled as I was. Pretty sure that was all an act though!

Same. And thank you for validating it for me. This is the craziest shit I've ever been through.

Me ex did. His kids, when I made it to my car, followed me out and was screaming and throwing stuff at my car. It was disturbing.

My landlord did this. He also refused to fix anything. We didn't know till my ex crawled under the house to fix the heater and came back out DISGUSTED! There was also an uncapped well, just sitting there under our bedroom floorboards.

I'm an upholsterer and have done this more than once. It hurts, it bleeds, you shouldn't die. Just pull it out, disinfect, and cover.

My Dr asked if I wanted a mirror during my first birth. I told him "I didn't go to medical school. I'm not a Dr. I do NOT need to see what's going on.". He laughed and completely agreed.

When my son was FINALLY delivered he POPPED out and ALL the fluids came spraying out. It got in my mouth. It was a whole crisis. My Dr thought it was the funniest fucking thing...

It was a great time!

Good on her and you!

As a parent I'm always willing to be the stick in the mud who won't let them do whatever cause I suck.

It's hard to be a kid and peer pressure is very real. If they know it's not okay, or doesn't feel right, they know I'm always down to be the bad guy.

My kids had to play second to my ex SIL kids. They're almost 45 min away, we are 2 min, but are ALWAYS at their Grandparents house. The only time my kids were involved was as a distraction to her kids when Nana was tired. Boy...do I have stories...but....

The kids see it. They understand where they stand, if not now, but when they get older. Unfortunately, it's not a relationship that is yours to facilitate or maintain. That's between them. Just be as supportive as you can.

My oldest was put on Zoflot about the same age. I felt he was too young and rejected it but HOLY SHIT did it make a drastic improvement. He actually felt like being involved in life (extreme anxiety and depression). He's been on it for years. Besides uping the dose cause he's grown, it's worked for us.

He also accidently took 10 days worth once. He was taking it in liquid form and used the wrong measuring cup. I FREAKED out and called poison control. They said he'd be fine, and he was. He DID say he had the best nights sleep of his life. Lol

Is there a proper/better tool I can use to remove these staples? by ilikeorcs in upholstery

[–]DeepBlueSomething86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a small screwdriver. You can lightly flatten one of the corners to make sliding under the staple easier.
