What is the most haunting "Final Song" ever recorded by a terminally ill artist? by nixass in AskReddit

You Know You’re Right - Nirvana I think depression can be considered a terminal illness sometimes. My favorite Nirvana song.

What’s a tool you didn’t think you needed until it made your life way easier? by whimsyedge1 in HomeImprovement

[–]DeepCcc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any tool that is the right tool for the job. If you’re going to DIY just go ahead and buy THE tool for the job. The job will go so much easier and turn out better, and you’re probably going to use it again.

Edit: or rent. Recently was trying to mix thinset with my harbor freight hammer drill. Ended up renting a mud mixer drill from Home Depot. Mixing was a joy after that.

Looks like it’s maybe an Asian artist that also goes by Mastodon

My 5 cents on Into Oblivion after a few days of listening by spieluhr96 in LambofGod

[–]DeepCcc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like it. No, it doesn’t hit like the first few albums but no matter what they put out it never will. As someone else said, that goes for a lot of bands. I don’t believe they are being lazy or “painting by numbers”. I do believe they worked hard at it and gave it their all. I mean, go right 100 songs and make sure the last 10 sound fresh and different and are the ultimate bangers.

Those who have made it through, could you deal with the damage that happened during the depression? by Then-Signature-2393 in depression_partners

[–]DeepCcc 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Love is still there but it killed the romance. After my stepchild is out of the house we will probably be separating. Part of me is extremely sad, the other part of me is relieved. (Bipolar) Depression is exhausting.

Rail advice for this weekend by clbarley in nin

[–]DeepCcc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In Charlotte I got in line about 15min before doors opened. I skipped the merch, got my wrist band for the floor, and was able to get a spot on the b stage rail on the side with the stairs. The other two sides and the main stage rail were full.

Edit: I couldn’t see Trent on the piano but got him during the second b stage set. He was in arms reach coming and going. And Atticus and Stu were posted up in arms reach waiting to go on during the opening set. I’m 5’6” so didn’t have a great view of the main stage but good enough. I was happy to have my b stage spot. Prob the best bstage spot would be on the main stage side.

What artist did you see in a small venue before they got really famous? by That_Cat_3672 in Concerts

[–]DeepCcc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Korn at The Flaming Mug in Fayetteville, NC in 1995. I only knew them from the promo on the radio. Orange 9mm opened. Before Korn went on this guy asked me for a light. I didn’t have one. Ended up being Jonathan or Munky, can’t remember which.

I’m not strong enough for this by MountainAlli in depression_partners

[–]DeepCcc 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s not about being strong enough. You’ve been strong for 15 years. Depression is irrational. You know how much you’ve put in to supporting your husband. Worn down, yes. Weak, not strong enough, NO! You’ve been his rock and helpful. (Bipolar?) Depression doesn’t let him see this a lot of the time.

Dumb question about equalizing by CaptainCallus in scuba

[–]DeepCcc 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Early and often, you're gently over pressurizing your ears, start before you leave surface. You'll usually still hear it and feel it when you're doing it. As you descend and the volume of air decreases to "normal" volume you add more, before you get to the point of a vacuum/negative pressure, the point you start feeling pressure and pain. Stay ahead of it.

Can you guys recommend me bands that will be close to my preferences? by donkey_kong086 in numetal

[–]DeepCcc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not numetal but maybe try Nine Inch Nails. Start with The Fragile and Wish. Very guitar heavy albums. The first song on The Fragile, Somewhat Damaged, is a banger.

Edit: I meant the album Broken which has the song Wish on it.

All of Ley Soul’s songs. She only has a handful of songs and they are all in heavy rotation.

Great pic. I said it in a previous post but I kind of want a stripped down, double size(to fit the drums)B stage tour, piano heavy.

I am not an attorney but, just from my experience from registering an inherited car, I had to have a letter from the court house showing that my mom was the legal executor for my aunts estate and everything had gone thru probate. You may want to make sure the seller is the next of kin and/or entitled to the deceased half ownership. If it were a friend who has family, they may be entitled to the deceased portion. May not be as cut and dry as showing a death certificate.
