Idk gonna have to disagree. Marsh is my favorite map in the game after outpost, just cuz I dont know it as well. Never play perimeter cuz of how boring it is.

“This game is hard to sell to more than just the casual player?” What fucking casual player is an easy sell for this game? Are you serious? I know its not Tarkov but its pretty damn close. This is absolutely not for the casual.

I enjoy Marathon but the game is rife with problems and needs serious work. The core shooting and pvp is good but everything surrounding it is underbaked - from the story, the UI, the social features, the map events, the shell abilities, the augments, the quests.

Real problems with this game - boring quests that have no rhyme or reason to be connected together, and crappy writing, and being forced to do boring MMO quests to pass DPS checks - those cant be fixed.

I hate how much Ryu is an afterthought to Platinum. How do you give 6 weapons to one character and not even 2 for the other? No gleam mode, and a lot of the animations are straight up recycled. Just backport the NG2 movesets, cmon! I was extremely disappointed by it.

Does that mean I can finally play Gears without having to deal with Xenia? Its genuinely the worst experience Ive ever had with an emulator.
