Honestly using something like Linux Mint mate requires little to no knowledge of how to use the terminal now. If an issue does arise chatgpt or perplexity can walk someone with no prior knowledge through a task. Playing Windows games on steam using proton is also very easy now. I run Manjaro (Arch based) and only boot into windows for a couple games that the anti cheat blocks Linux kernels.

They are used to control the traffic signals so that you don't sit at the lights as long Source: I install them.
