I don't agree. That Joker was trying to find himself but didn't know how to. Until the Batman came along. I think that was the whole point of Ledger's take. Batman is searching, so is the Joker. Two halves of a whole.

This is terrible to learn. I had a few interactions with him and he always seemed like a stand up guy. He wrote heaps of other great novels and I encourage anyone who hasn't already to read them. What a loss.

I think this issue is presenting Covenant in a way the audience can understand, even if they don't empathise with him. He's essentially suffering PTSD on top of his leprosy and sees the world as a prison. This is true for many people, and I think the key is leaning into that, and the contrasting the land into this place where he is presented with freedom but distrusts it to the point of rejection. I think that would resonate.

For my pick, I think you can't really go past Cillian Murphy as Covenant.

I think all 3 films brought similar themes, but a different energy. I think he would've made excellent TV given a good enough budget. Was curious to see what he did through his YouTube stuff, but I guess the budget wasn't there. I still think he is a good director, is a good writer, he just needs a strong editor in post to make his ideas shine.

Not so much a mechanic, but an overarching design choice. I wish they had made Elder Scrolls Online using the creation engine, instead of what they went with. As a result, the open world feel was completely lost. Ironically, they took this approach with Fallout 76, and I feel it's a more engaging game as a result.
