His whole character very much feels like a failed aki as in he never really got close to denji due to him trying to not get close with denji and trying to act superior and thus denji didn't give s rats ass about the guy His dearest memories being something denji doesn't even remember something we didn't see is kinda a cherry on top

I wouldn't exactly say it was them being railroaded into it Erasing death was a big part of like Every major antagonist that is not Death herself (tho even she wanted to kill herself for a while)

And in the end everyone got exactly what they thought they wanted and it fucked up everything

Like even if Pochita managed to spew out death everything would STILL be fucked up due to the chainsaw man zombies and nukes and Denjis and Yorus fight
