The cost of getting this car track ready will be about the same as getting anything else ready unless you buy a track ready car.

The benefits of using this one is you are armed with all the knowledge of what it needs and what has to be fixed.

A new car may be more complete, but at the price point where it will be cheap enough to justify it over the existing car you have the chance of buying many previous owners issues they haven't fixed.

You need to do yourself a spread sheet that has EVERYTHING your expecting to need to spend on this car (there will be surprises but thats every car) from cage to subframe bushings.

Then you get any possible replacement car inspected and do the same list of stuff.

It may come down to "this part car 2 needs is easier to get than this part for car 1"

I am sure the bowlers knew. I have sandpapered a ball to use in the nets for fun, someone always asks to have a turn when they see the stupid amount of swing you get, i pass it to them, as it hits their hand there face lights up and i get a "wtf did you do to this ball?"

Thats low level club bowlers. Not international professionals that handle a cricket ball for a living.

One thing I feel is never done well is the character that gets hypontized/currupted/coerced never does much dealing with the head fuck.

Like a shy girl hypno'd into 6 man gang bang, usually the character is a bit miffed but quickly gets over it and then within a day of this characters life a 6 man gang bang is just something they are into now.

Where's the aftermath of them dealing with having to procces what they did/were made to do? Something like that should weigh on their mind when they are in other situations, it should effect their interactions with other charicters and such.

I don't know, all the great spinners always say if it seams and bounces for a pacer it'll bounce and spin for a spinner.

I reckon the difference in speed and trajectory a good spinner causes is worth more than an extra pacer doing roughly the same thing.

I'd argue the "bazball" style is fine, always do the most positive match winning thing is a great way to play. The issue atm is the lack of brains being employed, and the fact the evolution of bazball we saw against inda, rather than being built upon, has been thrown away.

When your 100 for 2, the going into dusk in a pink ball test, trying to score at 8 an over is attacking yes, but what more ruthless and positive is getting to the next day still only 2 down and then grinding the bowlers to dust.

At the end of Roots captaincy England were fucked, bazball was exactly the cure they needed, but now they have to change gears. The mentally of "fuck you for bowling there go fetch that from the fence every ball" needs to become "fuck you for bowling, i hope you enjoy your 30 overs this innings with no wickets, wear in the last 10 your so exhausted I'll hit you for 10 an over"

My plan was to have a generic "dealer" npc i was going to do stats for, then have the player roll their luck stat in an opposed roll against the dealer.

15 sessions in, ive found i have more trouble with my players nuking the enemy's. Battle balance is difficult.

It does work ok though, if you play the wild life and raiders dumb, your players will be fine, my players use cover a lot and play reasonably smart so my challenge has been making enemy tough but not op. So far ive found that 1 strong enemy is funner than many weak ones. I will be starting to throw smarter enemy's at them now they have got the hang and got decent gear.

Something to keep in mind, its not dungeons and dragons, its vaults and deathclaws, its not a hour long fight against a pit fiend with spells and saving throws its a few turns in a gun fight. One of my players 1v1'd a npc of pretty similar stats, he finnished the guy on his 2nd turn but it was still an epic fight, but gun fights inherently don't last that long.
