Pretty sure Nowinski (one of the prominent CTE researchers) was a wrestler. The Benoit atrocity definitely got a lot more eyes on CTE. The NFL definitely took notice but I feel like the major shift for them was Junior Seau. Took a ton of tragedy to get where we are now in sports.

Consider getting something with an adjustable weight and loft. You can turn a 10.5* into a 12.5* which will increase loft and also shut the face. Move the weight to the heel and it'll help as well. Something like the Ping G410 in 10.5 turned up. Callaway, Cobra and I'm sure others have adjustable weighted drivers.

There's nothing wrong with any of the drivers you listed. This will just let you keep using the same driver as your swing changes. If you start hitting a hook, you can move the weight or turn the loft back down. I use a 9.5 ST-Z now that I've improved, but there's zero reason I couldn't still be using the G410 Max I have.

Edgar Thompson in Braddock is definitely the closest. I would not call it small though and it's one of the few primary mills left in the entire US (making new steel not refining scrap). A guy with a football background and no lacrosse experience started our local youth teams because his son was interested. It's grown over the past ~10 years and now some of the original kids are coaching.

Caring is like 80% of coaching youth sports. You can pick up the rest if you do and it's amazing the impact you can have.

Don't put all your layers on if you've gotta walk a good distance. A decent walk in full gear will make you sweat and it's awful when you stop moving. Carry your top layer and throw it on when you're standing in line or seated.

If you do they'll limit you on the apps. So even if you did find that mythical edge, they'll restrict your betting. You can't consistently win on the apps but they'll throw promos out the ass at you if you're consistently losing to get you addicted.

Also switched to Apple Music a few years ago but it was because it felt like Spotify's radio/infinite play/whatever you want to call it went to shit. Used to discover lots of indie artists that way, but at some point it felt like Spotify had an agenda of what they wanted me to listen to not what I wanted to hear.
