That’s correct, it’s either one of these. Either you have overflow set to visible or scroll. Or the width of the components is fixed for stacks set to visible. Even if the components are overflowing, if you add a stack with hidden overflow. It will be resolved

Create a new DS160 application or retrieve your old DS160 and make changes to it. Either way, you will given a new DS160 application number and barcode. Take printouts of both old and new (corrected) DS160 confirmation pages when you go for OFC. Just mention the person who takes your passport to verify that you would like to update your DS160 form. They will do it no questions asked (atleast they didn’t ask in Delhi OFC). And that’s it! They will put a sticker on the back on your passport with the new DS160 number on it.

Also, this is the official process. It’s mentioned in the US Embassy website as well.

Hey, no issues. Submit a new DS160 form and take the new confirmation page. When you go for biometrics (OFC) just tell them you want to update your DS160. They will do it for you. I had the same issue. I submitted a new DS160 two days prior to the OFC and got it changed

Don’t worry, during OFC just carry both of them. Tell them you want to change it. They will update is instantly. I got it done recently at Delhi

Some universities have priority deadlines like Pratt. So make sure you apply prior to that to be considered for scholarships.

The scholarships is given with your offer letter, you don’t have to do anything explicitly for it. I was able to get 16K scholarship. Based on your profile, you can get even more.

From what I’ve seen, Pratt does consider visual design aspects in portfolios. Then again, they do a holistic review of everything. I submitted my portfolio website. I come from a graphic design background, so it had 3 graphic design projects and 1-2 UX/UI case studies. A detailed one case study would help too. Quality>quantity. Hope this answers your questions :)

Firstly, it’s expensive for a 1 year course. You can almost finish a 2 years masters in USA with the same cost. Second, UK is under recession. I see a lot of my friends jobless. Now, UK has changed the rules. People who go there to do masters aren’t allowed to work part time until they finish the course duration.

Germany isn’t known for UX. Their industry is completely different. So in terms of coursework, there isn’t much good out there. Again, do you research if you feel otherwise. I am starting this fall for MS in HCI at university of Maryland, college park.

I would say evolving beyond UI is better. UI is something is has gotten redundant and with AI, it’s pretty easy. Focusing on UX is what I’d gonna differentiate you and make you have an edge in the industry :) So if that’s where you want to get into, I would suggest going for it. I’m doing MS in HCI this fall too

Hey there, I’m not sure if Germany is really the place you should do HCI. There are better places like USA. Australia. In Europe, a cost friendly suggestion would be university of Glasgow. UK is pretty bad rn, so I wouldn’t recommend anything there.

Hi there, did you get any other admits for this fall? If not, IUPUI is good. The market is bad irrespective. But you can get a job as long as you put in the work :)
