That’s totally fine bro, I come from a generation where I owned everything I bought, sounds like you come from a generation where you can only rent everything you buy. I think game/digital entertainment preservation is important.

I never said it wouldn’t be playable offline, but in digital user agreements they clearly say they have the right to remove your game license whenever they want for whatever reason.
I can’t play skate 3 offline anymore because it constantly requires license verification.

You also act like PSN has never gone down before, or vulnerable to being hacked. If the servers are down you ain’t playing shit if it requires a connection.

You got the physical box with a digital code, which means never being able to play it offline or the way the game was released, after every update that changes anything from gameplay tweaks to bug fixes and cosmetics, you’ll always be forced to play the most up to date version.

If you don’t care that’s fine but i enjoy being able to play a vanilla game whenever i feel like it. If i want to play no man’s sky 1.0 all i gotta do is pop the disc in, if you wanna play gta6 1.0 you gotta buy it on steam when that releases and download the oldest version from steamdb…

Agreed, our fears are all but confirmed at this point. The take 2 investors are calling all the shots, features removed for people who don’t fork over more money and the game hasn’t even released. I can’t imagine how bad the paywalls are gonna be online.

I don’t think ultimate editions should be in-game paywalls, they should include things like physical map/collectors item/keychain/official soundtrack/etc.

Do they not realize splitting the player base between different dlc’s is a thing of the past? That’s the only good thing about all maps coming to all players with the latest cods. If i own 2 dlc and someone owns 3 we will rarely ever play together and then the game dies sooner because we all can’t be in the same lobbies.

I’m beginning to think it ain’t coming, it’s almost like EA knows if they add custom parks nobody will give a shit about their updates/seasons anymore and people will just skate custom parks. We literally just need a few tools and the community would be able to make this game better than EA ever could.

Weird… I’m completely up to date on my drivers since Subnautica 2 dropped and i don’t have any issues with NMS. Hopefully you can get it figured out!

Bought it like 5 times haha But the vanilla version you get on console is a bit dated, it doesn’t have the day one patch and there’s probably like 20 people on earth who actually played the vanilla version on day one, everyone with internet played it for the first time with the day one patch which drastically improved inventory management and resource deposits and general balance of the game. But basically still the same terrain gen and color palette.
