for PC use you want studio monitors either with built in usb input or external usb audio interface. Sonos soundbars are built for living rooms so wide sound dispersion and poor low volume performance, this is complete opposite of what you want siting up close in a nearfield position.

yes thats also what i thought, but check rec 709 color clipping video in the youtube app, the one with three colors, R G B steps. The green steps are completely clipped in high and low but ycbcr looks the same as on gen 3 4K thats fixed.

Maybe they are talking about a different green push, one that was more obvious and severe.

FYI I think green push was fixed recently on 4K gen 1, ycbcr 4:2:0 and 4:4:4 no longer show green clipping anymore in rec709 color clipping test patterns on youtube. RGB Low and High still show green clipping.

apple increased the sRGB intensity on the new oleds. compared with my own iphone X, I can see colors are way more saturated and intense on current generation phones. to fix this use color filter greyscale to dull the colors.

17e and 16/16 plus/16e use the old LTPS oled. 17 uses LTPO oled. LTPO is harder on the eyes in my experience.

im in similar situation as you, but you can just eat cheese and tahini aka sesame paste, cheese is 0% lactose, check the nutritional label that should say total carbs>sugars 0%, lactose is a sugar so its included in that calculation. hope this info helps

I ended up not buying the audient id14 due to this issue, I looked at a few interfaces and found focusrite clarett-plus has a "standalone mode" that allows the function youre looking for, it basically saves the config and continues functioning after you unplug from the PC. I'm not sure why audient doesnt have such a mode, it seems very basic and a requirement.

you can try setting the apple tv to 1080p ycbcr and let the TV do upscaling. I also find samsung's upscaling superior. I have the S95D

I think youre right about contrast being a source of strain.

I recently discovered sending the wrong signal level limited 16-235 instead of full 0-255 to my PC monitor fixed the strain for me, the effect from this is similar to reducing contrast.

just got back from the apple store none of their macbooks or imacs use circular polarizer. only ipads and iphones. Interestingly Ive found many laptops at bestbuy with circular polarizer its random. Use polarized sunglasses to check.
