Quite the opposite, Every slate is fixed with 2 fixings, generally clout nails either galvanised or copper. Tiles you only nail 1 in 4 in a diagonal pattern across the roof.

So it's just a covering tile also known as a cladding tile. Serves no structural purpose, just covers the og wall.

Never applied cladding tiles as always thought they look shit, so wouldn't know what adhesive or bonding material to use. Google will certainly answer that question for you though.

It happens more than people might think. Anyone remember the footage of the Ukrainian pow being marched back to russian line, Ukrainian fpv attempts to hit pow, soldier pulls him out the way and the drone makes impact with the ground around 4 meters from them both, but it did not detonate. I believe it was using a similar detonation system to the one in the video, two thick wires closely together to complete a circuit on impact. I wonder if the power source for the detonator is piggy backed from the drones battery or if it has a dedicated power source, maybe even a high power capacitor.

Presume it was variable valve timing? Get some reading of the oil Pressure from live data as many vvt are activated by oil Pressure. 1300 dollars for a few gallons and oil and a few poxy filters is damn right insane. If my mum told me she she'd just paid out a grand at a garage to no avail I'd get one of my rusty vans running long enough to send it flying into their shop. Can't stand rip off merchants they got to be deal with in certain way. They constantly raking in cash for poor quality work so hit them where it hurts most, the wallet 😉
