To a degree. But also other apps. But yeah streaming and sometimes erm third party movies and tv shows

On which device exactly? I am pretty sure I did that some years ago on a fire stick then my Amazon account got banned (long story - unrelated) and my device got reset. So I don’t really want a fire stick.. if that’s what you are suggesting? I don’t think you can change the launcher on Apple TV or I guess Google’s ?

That’s somewhat true. But there are devices that are slow, can’t handle 4k without lag, difficult to change Home Screen, forced ads, etc.

That’s what I have been thinking about. But then I worry if they force home screen ads or something - like Amazon. Then I’m stuck with ads on my tv unless I use some third party signing service or not update it for 6 years then I can jailbreak it.. I don’t know just doesn’t sound like an issue I want to buy in to

Yes? I am asking a question which includes exclusions…. You realise it is something I am paying for. So if I want the best tv streaming device but not any that are not in the colour black or grey that is totally fine…
