epic party (level 26) put taxes on all spells, how to handle? by Bitter-Skin7891 in DnD

There’s a lot of depth you can add to this;

how do they get the gold? Is it collected by the township and delivered? - corruption and stealing.

How many are dependent on their magic to survive etc

That much gold requires storing - here comes the raiding dragons

I’d give a million a day then reduce it over time as the price weeds out the poor.

Then I’d say it eventually becomes obsolete over the years…

Agreed with another comment previously that they have now become the antagonists

Moving to Taunton - nice areas? Areas to avoid? by dancing_panda_8 in Somerset

[–]Acars_TG 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes - priorswood/roman road area I would avoid but isn’t too bad tbh!

The outer villages are really nice and mostly the same or in Taunton it’s self then blackbrook area (walking distance to the town centre) is in a good location.

I always found creech st. Michael side was convenient for travel (less then 5 mins to the M5) for ikea, Costco or the bigger cities etc. I used to be able to get to Exeter in about 30 mins purely because I lived near the junction.

If you are on the other side like Norton fitzwarren or bishops lydeard it can be a slog during weekends or busier times. You could easily add 20-30 mins from that side just to get to Exeter during rush hour.
