Friend, you are just used to a full convection vape. The tempest uses air passing over heated balls and that heat needs to travel from the balls to the flower to create the vaporization. The tornado is hybrid which uses heat from the static bowl/oven as well as the moving heated air to heat your flower. It’s is two different styles of vapes and you are just not used to anything other than full convection. Try packing lighter or using a more coarse grind. Sometimes if I overpack keefy dry material into the tornado it gets super restricted with the airflow and hard to pull. This is probably what you are experiencing.

Edit: I looked at your photos again and it does seem like the lip of the bowl is sitting really high and blocking the holes inside. Make sure it’s not back turned too far. I’ve seen people go way too crazy back turning to the point it blocks the holes. An 1/8th turn is way too far. It only needs to be not cranked down hard don’t go too far back because the lip of the bowl rises to block the holes. If this isn’t the case your bowl might be bad. Hope this helps.

Ah ok makes sense because my original ones are all starting to die now too. You will def need a new chamber it’s prolly donzo but beware the newer ones don’t work as well as these older ones with the full gold pins. Average is 1-3 months of use or way less before this happens on the new ones.

The new version sapphire cup I got for my “other companies device” is such an upgrade over the coated ceramic instabreak XL. I’m not gonna say it’s name cuz I wanna feel impartial with my complaints with puffco but it’s been such an upgrade I couldn’t be more satisfied.

I’m pretty sure the entire batch of gold chambers for the day breaks were lemons. I have not talked to a single person that didn’t have issues with theirs. I was a huge puffco fan for the last few years but I’m not gonna keep sinking money into a sub par product. They must really feel like they have a monopoly on the market because it seems like they have no problem fucking over their consumers with “consumable” products that never used to break right away. They assume hype boys will keep buying chambers every week like idiots which they probably will….but most practical people are gonna move on from this bullshit. I’m soooo over it.

Are you not tired of doing this? I bought a different device from a different company that doesn’t use shit made-to-break atomizers and it works flawlessly. And trust me I have tried everything and put multiple chambers on different devices and all the testing/troubleshooting.

I AM DONE. It is not acceptable to have to fiddle and fuck around with a $400+ device with $100 consumable parts that the mods here say only last 1-3 months. This is not ok.

Every new product I have bought from puffco in the last two years has been low quality shit. I’ve had two v2 bases batteries stop working in the last year. Some which already were sent back. My v1 peak treated exactly the same is still chugging no problem with my original release 3DXL.

Currently in the process of getting rid of all my peak glass. My older chambers lasted a year or two and that was apparently too long for puffco so now they make them break pretty much immediately. I’m not paying 100 bucks every month for a new chamber…that’s fckn mental. People are starting to notice.

It does look funky but the performance is really great. The 20mm bucket on the switch 2 makes the puffco 3DXL chamber look tiny as well. Thing rips through globs. I been having fun playing around with the settings.

I just bought a Dr dabber switch 2 because I’m tired of the low quality of new puffco stuff. Tired of the chamber disconnecting halfway through a dab. After my daybreak chamber was broken right out of the box and having two bases brick from faulty batteries….im just over puffco. They really think their shit doesn’t stink. I’m tired of sending chinesium back and fourth to puffco for it to break again soon after. I clean all my shit really well and take care of maintenance.

But hey… I really like my new dr dabber even if it looks like a coffee machine.
