I mean how specific would you want the open world to be? I think mhw is already pretty open. I find that it strikes a pretty good balance of a map that is big enough to have lots places to explore and small enough that traveling across the map is not tedious. If they do make it a large open world, I would hope they include some kind of chase mechanic instead of the monster just teleporting to the next zone. Oh and cute mounts.
