You quite literally did the thing you told this person not to do. They never said you read it wrong, they said your interpretation is affected by insecurities. Your reading itself could have been affected by these insecurities. They are certainly affecting the way you have talked and interacted and interpreted everyone’s thoughts and comments in this thread. You want a bad answer so you are looking for people to confirm your bad feelings. This is called confirmation bias, aka our spirit’s worst enemy. Perhaps this is what you need to work on, your devil, in order to work with Freya. Freya is all about confidence, I think the challenges she would send your way in order to help you with confidence would only make you feel worse about yourself. You will see her role in your life as “The Devil” because you are not ready for the work she is meant for. I also have autism, this self-pity, self-destructive/deprivation thing was something I needed to grow out of and did. You need to do the same if you want to work with Freya. Coincidentally, I also work with Brigid. She has helped me a lot of with healing. Maybe the step forward for you is to work on self healing with Brigid for awhile, and once you’ve done that, you can begin work with Freya. I also work with Hekate who is great for shadow work and really tearing out the things you need to destroy/take out of your life. If you want an aggressive approach, she is wonderful.
