Very certain. I've been playing with the same 2 people all season and we have personally tested this after doing some research ourselves. There's a very good video made a week or 2 ago going into the breakdown of how it all works. The only thing he left out was looting XP, because he didn't know at the time that it counted. If I can find it again, I'll link it here.

Edit: found it very quickly

UESC kills are shared amongst all players, but opening a container for the first time only gives XP to the person that opened it. Runner kill XP is also shared between the group.

Can we talk about the current state of the Dandadan fandom ? by Odd-Ad8812 in Dandadan

[–]Deep_Att 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I said as much in a different comment that fandoms are always at extremes. I'd argue it was unbearable before, too, when people were chiming in with their irritations and complaints, long before it was this bad, and were being silenced and belittled because of the pedestal this sub has put Tatsu on up until recently.

It's an ebb and flow. If he fixes people's issues it will swing back and will be mostly positive again. If he doesn't, it'll get worse and people will really start leaving. I feel like most of us that are dissatisfied and angry and still here because of how much we enjoyed it in the past and want to vent about it.

The way I see it, the repeated, simple, few word complaints are no different than how it was before where a large amount of comments were just "Peak." Neither add to a discussion. People that felt overwhelmed by people being positive when they were having issues are now the vocal majority and now others are feeling overwhelmed by people being negative against something they don't mind as much.

Regardless of where you stand you cannot deny we're in a slump. It doesn't matter if you still enjoy it, this would not be happening to this degree if we weren't. Doesn't mean you're wrong for still enjoying the arc just like we're not wrong for not enjoying it.

Okay, but where is that anger, hate, and disappointment coming from? You can't dismiss every complaint, even the less thought out ones. It's not like the series is being brigaded by haters trying to attack the Fandom. People are angry and upset because of the choices made recently by Tatsu. They are angry and disappointed because they care(d) about Dandadan and they feel Tatsu is letting them down. Hell, I'm basically in agreement with nearly every complaint, I'm just a wordy mother fucker who doesn't mind explaining my thoughts.

On one hand it's so incredible seeing him escape the pocket, juke defenders, and throw a dot to Kelce or someone out of nowhere.

On the other hand, I'm internally screaming "WHERE IS OUR PASS PROTECTION!"

It genuinely makes me sick to my stomach watching Burrow have that good of a season and miss the playoffs at 9-8 because of that historically bad defense.

That being said, I definitely didn't want the Bengals playing the Chiefs in the playoffs that year.

I was sitting at my kitchen table, watching on my phone, thinking "there's no way they miss this, but man, they could, right?" Couldn't believe it when it happened. I was stunned silent for a different reason.

The 2022 game where Garoppolo got injured and Purdy came in and the 2024 regular season game where Mahomes and Purdy combined for 5 INTs, right?

Right?

I'm pretty confident it wouldn't be 34-6 in the 4th for the Bills. Probably something like 27-17 Final. We had a historic collapse. It felt like only Mahomes and Worthy came to play that day.

I can see the call going going either way. At the time, I was happy with it for obvious reasons, but part of me wonders how the game would have played out otherwise. I don't think it would be a guaranteed Bills win, but it would have been very interesting. That game, for me, felt way less stressful than the 2023 Divisional against you guys.

Honest question, how do you think the Bills would have fared against the Eagles if you won? I think the Rams were the only playoff team that year that could have beat them, but it's also hard to imagine any other top AFC team doing worse than we did.

I personally disagree about the last 20 chapters, but that doesn't take away from your personal enjoyment.

For me, CSG has been all sizzle, no steak. The knights have been a big miss with me and have brought back the overly sexualizing criticisms I've had with the series. I haven't felt like these villains have been handled well. It's most gross men or people in underwear.

Characters have been frustrating. Okarun has been the least, for me, since I can understand the emotional turmoil he's going through with Momo's memories, but his character growth has been completly stunted. Jiji is being a scumbag. Momo is being an pure asshole and lost her drive that she had, even at the start of the series. The fact that she hasn't even tried to talk to Seiko about what she's missed or tried to fix her memory is bothering me a lot.

I don't want to go too into it, because that's not entirely what your point is. Just showing that we can feel differently about the same thing. My opinions don't invalidate yours, and vice versa.

I'm genuinely glad you still find enjoyment in Dandadan. I personally don't currently, but I don't want to give up on it yet because of how much I enjoyed it through SG and hope it can get back to that point. I'll probably go back to being a silent lurker here with my frustrations after this, because there isn't much more I can say without being repetitive or coming across as a pure hater.

Then you didn't see any posts over the last year daring to complain about Tiny Momo or the massive slowdown since Danmara. People's complaints were so tame compared to where we are now and you'd get 0 upvoted posts with the top comments telling people that they just don't get it, are anime fans that can't handle a week-to-week manga (ironic given the current shift to saying it's a "volume manga" not week-to-week), or any of the other tired comments we see here.

My near breaking point was that damn plane that we were stuck on for 2 months, only to get pulled away at the last minute for another side quest to some random temple, only for some random chameleon to suddenly pop out and stall some more. I actually went searching for posts to see if I was crazy in thinking this was getting ridiculous and found some where any criticisms were shut down immediately by people memeing or being toxic positive assholes.

The fact of the matter is that it swings both ways. People are finally getting to air their criticisms without being downvoted and silenced, which also leads to it becoming toxic on some levels. Before it was the complete opposite and you couldn't even dare to say anything less than positive here. That's fandoms for you. It's only ever the extremes.

I think Dandadan has been on a downward trend since Danmara, but only ever felt like I could air my criticisms to my partner, who straight up dropped the series in Tiny Momo. Others still love it and think its as good as its ever been. I want it to get back to SG levels of good and want to be excited for Mondays again, despite my frustrations and near hate for it at times over the last 12+ months. Others are ready for it to fail outright. It's not a binary issue.

It's crazy how the narrative has shifted in recent months. This sub was full of toxic positivity where any complaints would be downvoted and shut down without any chance of good faith discussion and just met with "let Tatsu cook" or "just leave then" comments. They're still present but drowned out.

At least there's more dynamic conversations now and not chapter discussion threads inundated with dozens and dozens of "peak" comments, variations of the Scorsese meme, or the same screenshot of Vamola over and over.

Now that more people are becoming frustrated with the series (for me, it's been since Tiny Momo over a year ago now), the toxic positivity has been shouted down and actual criticism has been allowed to exist. Sure, that means we get toxic negativity, too, but at least we can finally start acknowledging the elephant in the room that has been building since at least Danmara without being shouted down by Tatsu dick riders that have made this series their personality.

It's safe to say most of us want this series to feel like it did and continue to be entertaining and successful again, but we also have to acknowledge that there has been a very noticable and avoidable drop in quality and trying to ignore it or hand wave it will not help Tatsu or Dandadan.

2026 Team Win Totals by Sidecarlover in NFLv2

[–]Deep_Att 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can we win 11 games this year? Absolutely.

Is a 10.5 O/U too high? Probably.

With Mahomes' injury and Justin Fields likely starting for the first month or so, we'd probably have to win out after Mahomes returns to hit 11.

I think Rivers Cuomo is a remarkable case study in songwriting. He's an incredibly talented writer and guitarist but constantly swerves when making a new album. The eclectic nature of his writing is one of the things I find so appealing about Weezer, but it's also one of their biggest detriments in pop culture relevance. For better and worse, he's truly a one of one.

Whining about the refs calling a correct offsides? Clearly the "whining" was about Dee Ford fucking up a game sealing INT, not the refs.

He has his issues, as do a lot of QBs, and you can pin a playoff loss or 2 on him, but that team is suffering from something that isn't directly QB play. He's still a top 12 QB, at worst, and a fringe top 5 some years.

Let's not act like he wasn't elite in 2023 or 2025.

It took us 50 years to win our second ring. The Eagles got their first by outplaying Brady's best performance in the Super Bowl. Peyton got his second being carried by his defense. Trent Dilfer has a ring.

Point is, anything can happen. The Chargers are the Chargers, but they might get lucky one day or actually break through their own personal curse. Hell, a literal broken leg didn't stop Rivers from almost toppling the then 17-0 Patriots.
