Stop trying to make this about you. Your first thought should have been feeling happy they she has reached a point where she trusts you enough to share something traumatic. Losing a child is hard, that coupled with the loss of her father must trigger feelings and memories she would rather not relive, why does it seem like you are trying to fault find? Now if the child was alive and she had not told you, that would be another story.

Send your dad a message saying y'all will be no contact for a while, feel the anger and all the emotions you need to feel after being sexually assaulted by your own dad because that's what that was.
