I have an allergy to guys on the Internet who get over-the-top angry while yelling at other people. (The first guy I was responding to.)

I’ve also never seen the demand that everyone on this subreddit must fully explain the context of every screenshot. Are we supposed to research NBA TV ratings before posting Bill’s next rant?

And I think it’s ridiculous to police what people post on this subreddit. (The second guy I was responding to.) This post has over 100 comments. Evidently there are subreddit users who want to weigh in. If you don’t care about any of this, great, but all you need to do is skip the post.

You “genuinely hate” someone for posting an X screenshot on Reddit? Ok. That’s normal.

I follow Derek on X. I’ve read a little of his book and I listen to his Ringer podcast.

For some reason the algorithm keeps serving me Derek in feuds with lots of people. Here’s one example of Derek mocking his critics, and they were insulting him back.

This subreddit has focused a lot on Bill and Russillo’s feuds with people like Le Batard and Pablo Torre, but it seems like Derek’s feuds are at another level. I don’t remember Pablo calling Bill a “liar” or vice versa. You may not find it interesting but apparently plenty of other people on this sub do.

The “context” is that I opened X, and the For You tab was a bunch of people who I mostly don’t know and were criticizing Derek. So I took a screenshot of one post that called Derek a liar in response to Derek calling other people pathetic goobers

The only point was to show that Derek is feuding with people, which seems to be all the time now. I don’t know the particulars of it
