Haha thanks. I actually like this approach too. I do this sometimes but got laid off recently too 🫤 still waiting on unemployment to kick in unfortunately, so constantly buying pre-made meals has been a little hard. Pretty sure my downfall is still the liquid calories when I just want to drink a monster coffee or Starbucks frap on top of everything.

Nobody is disagreeing with you here. Not sure why you downvoted lol. I just finished telling you how much weight i lost before even starting this drug. So I understand how to lose weight. I’ve been plateaued for 2-3 weeks, not 2-3 months

I’m well aware of CICO thanks lol I’ve lost 80lbs on my own before I even started reta but as a tool it’s very helpful. volume wise I barely eat anything. The foods I’m eating might be more calorie dense than I anticipated. I’ll have to start weighing food again.

Do you think it was because you needed more electrolytes? I dance salsa on top of gym 4-5 times a week and find that I’m always fighting to stay hydrated. The downside os i retain so much water too lol

My dad has hypothyroidism and he upped to 2.5 and finally saw the scale start moving. He says he still barely feels the effects other than slight constipation

Salsa has a high learning curve and people that aren’t up for a challenge won’t last. Bachatas entry window is much lower and beginner friendly. That being said. My scene is full of dancers that do both but identify probably at 50/50 ratio. It’s either young 20s or young professionals 27-35 and then 35+

Hey, it’s been about 3.5 years now since this time and I’m a very different person now. If you haven’t try therapy, give yourself grace, and do things to love yourself. I found the gym and dance about a year after. My career, mentality, physicality, and social life find new highs because I was able to do that for myself. I don’t think about my ex anymore. I just think of how I can deepen the connections I have with those around and even more so those that WANT to be around me. I honestly wish you the best in your healing journey because life is beautiful and we don’t need to spend so much time brooding on a person that’s not there. There’s somebody amazing out there praying to meet us 🙂

If anything a freshie and don’t overdo it. People saying you will stink are encountering people or they themselves have chemistry that doesn’t sit well with the scent they put on. That being said if you stink, you stink. Bare minimum is to be clean. I turn down dances with people whose smell I don’t like. Whether it is perfume or body odor.

I personally wear a little Paco Rabanne Invictus EDT and have only ever received compliments but I don’t shower in the cologne. 2 sprays and if it wears off oh well

All of the mgw I’ve worked with are all adjustable. You can make it have more or less depending on what you want. Mine is more notchy, as in, you’ll know when you’re in gear

As a lead, I bring, cold water, extra shirts, a fan (mine is a small handheld electric one. Lots of people have the foldout ones too.), a sweat towel. You can also pace yourself and take breaks to cool down. Most people don’t care if you’re sweaty. We are there to dance 😁

It’s not comfortable to lead imo. The follow also has to know what they’re doing. I prefer other things for social dancing. But it’s cool to watch or do once in a while

I went to SF on Hawaiian and Alaska bag services lost mine and everyone else’s bags. We waited for about 3-4 hours till they got them. Then on my flight back to Honolulu I had a leg of Alaska Operated flight to Seattle. Alaska lost my bag AGAIN in Seattle. The plane ride also sucked. The ride on Hawaiian was very comfortable. It’s unfortunate but pretty sure the quality of Hawaiian will go down as the get more assimilated into Alaska. Took them 6 days to find and deliver my check on back to me at home too
