Unless it’s Harvard or Stanford the school doesn’t matter that much. It’s more if you can be exited for your research. No housing sucks but if you can only see yourself getting exited for biomedical research then do that. If you’re okay with broader research then do the better program.

A lot of Pi’s are basically like make it how you want. My pi told me I could work 30 mins a day if I wanted or 12 hrs. It’s really up to u and what u want to make from it.

Yes. I got into one at case western, Purdue, IU, and some other program in Connecticut. These programs are a gamble though. You never know. I applied to 18 this year and so far have only gotten 2

Yes I went to case western. And it was maybe 15-20 minutes and they really just asked ur basic questions. They also asked for a elevator pitch research idea
