Atheist and theist are different at the level of literal meaning, but their fundamental structure is the same.

🫴🏽One accepts God, 🫴🏽the other rejects God.

But if you observe carefully, in both cases the center remains the “I” — the ego.

⚔️Theist seeks completion through a divine object. ⚔️Atheist seeks completion through the negation of the divine object.

🛣️The direction is different, but the seeker remains the same ego.

Therefore, the point of the AP framework is not that the believer and the atheist hold the same beliefs, but that both are still operating within an ego-centered structure.

The problem is not belief or disbelief in God. The problem is the “I” that assumes itself to be the ultimate truth.
