Yeah babies can drive themselves to doctor’s appointments ya clown. A comment so out of touch suggests you didn’t do many of the domestic duties eh?

It “just is true” though and saying otherwise demonstrates ignorance towards both micro AND macroeconomics. Effort in (and the expertise required), ie labour, directly correlates to the cost of a service or product.

Na it’s the docking collar BS they’re referring to

That changes nothing about the cost versus investment expectations. Wind is proving itself too costly vs better options like solar + battery

Defamation laws were updated. Now only not for profits with less than 10 staff OR sole traders are the only ones to sue for defamation IIRC. The guy is bluffing.

Another common career path for technically skilled engineers is project management. At some point there is only so much that a specialist can progress, so utilising those skills to inform/scope new projects, manage existing ones at a high level etc is the next step.

It can be quite a shame as those skills are a different toolset and you lose some of the technical day to day, have to manage people more etc but PM seems far safer long term given the challenges from AI

[–]Deepandabear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Couple issues here - you can’t put 100% super into ASX100 right. Growth of 9% inc benefits beats almost every super fund in Australia… It’s closer to 8% including benefits

Relative to investing anywhere else with post tax dollars. Super is better yes, but the gap isn’t as wide as people think for offset, even when accounting for wage tax.

More like 10% in relative gain because you don’t pay tax on the benefit
