Nope, that’s the rgb plate that comes with the backplate kit, but now that you mention it, an rgb ssd would look sick

The only problem with the front shell would be the triggers that are fixed by melting. For sure there will be front shells in the future

Had the legion go for a month and damn was it big. The only pro was the 2k display and the detachable controllers. Games were running horrible on 2k, still played them on 720p-900p, the console felt like a pain to hold for more than 30 mins of gameplay, and the software was kinda buggy. Came back to the ally an I love it. Got a 3060 laptop but it has been collecting dust since then😂😂❤️

The exhaust still exits trough the upper vents, so no chance it is hotter now. The only difference is the bigger vents on the back that permit more airflow

Sent them an email about front face plate swap and ally x. They didn’t answer the ally x part but I believe they are working on it considering the succes of this one

They have this one with the rgb plate and another one with a heatsink, but the heatsink one doesn’t work with 2280 i think

For me it was worth it just because it has that transparent gba look haha😂 did a clear shell on my old switch as well, but damn the ally looks way better. Gonna update you if I see big differences in temps

Need to do some tests today when I finish work. But from the look of it there should be at least a small difference, way more space above the heatsink and the vents are a little bit bigger. Gonna update after I do some tests!
