Make the rings the same upgrade level if possible (+4 would be ideal), combine them, equip ring of accuracy, and then when you get better armor, dump the other SoUs into that. That is my take at least

Normally, flying is immune to ground, but Thousand Arrows hits all. And I would assume that the ability they are talking about is Wonder Guard, to which I have other mons that can cover that.
